I have worked with a broad range of people and personalities in administrative and customer service situations for more than 25 years, including Managing Director, Owner/Manager, Production Coordinator, Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Accounts Receivable and Payable, Accountant's Assistant, Senior Administrative Assistant, File Clerk, Receptionist, Cashier, Administrative Officer, Call Centre Customer Service Representative and Technical Support.

Industries I have worked in have included Banking, Photographic, Manufacturing, Import and Distribution, Wholesale Fruit and Vegetables, Accountancy Practice, Counselling, Home Delivery Services, Government, Higher Education, and IT.

I have owned and operated 2 successful small businesses, including Sydney Nappy Wash, which was one of 126 in the Yellow Pages when we bought it, and within 3 years we made it No. 1, eventuating in our 2 major competitors requesting we buy them out just before one went bankrupt.

I have built two websites with Notepad using HTML and CSS at http://fulllifehelp.com and http://sbvs.com.au and have general and specific knowledge about the internet and websites and coding and, although not an expert yet, am quite capable with social media, as well as having many contacts who are more proficient and more than able to answer any questions and freely give technical help should I ask.

I am handy to have around as a proof reader and sounding board and if I see a better way of doing things, I’m not shy in saying so.

VA Training, graduated in 2010.
Certificate IV, Small Business Management, completed in 2009.
Assisting with a 2nd edition text including the logistics, updating copy from handwritten submissions, and liaising with the publisher. (Financial Markets and Institutions in Australia 2nd Edition. Authors Valentine, Ford, Sundmacher, Edwards, Copp)
Personal Assistant to an actively publishing Professor.
Word processing (with version control and proofreading), including Microsoft Word Equation Editor, for correspondence, examinations, research papers and abstracts, overhead transparencies, mail merges and labels.
Database management.
Powerpoint presentations for conferences and higher education.
Managing multiple electronic diaries.
Managing multiple email addresses and sending "on behalf of" emails.
Purchasing, payments and all accounting procedures.
Reception and customer service.
Organisation and coordination of offices and situations.
Internet research.
Designing and creating advertising materials.
Designing and creating forms and templates.
Website design, management and testing.
